Angela & Wayne are patiently waiting on baby!

Angela and Wayne are expecting a baby girl in a few short months and I had the privilege of snapping a few photos for them to remember her pregnancy. I am so happy for the two of them and was so honored when Angela asked me to take these. Love you girl! XO

Welcome Home Marines! Miller Family!

I had the ultimate pleasure of capturing the homecoming of Rachel's husband from his deployment. You could FEEL the love between the two as soon as they laid eyes on each other and of course I cried like a baby. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your day and I hope that these photos mean as much to you as they have me. Military families endure so much and give up so much that sometimes I don't think the regular person understands or thinks about. Long deployments, this one in particular was 9 months, holidays alone, etc. It is a tough job not just for the service member but also the spouse. I encourage you to thank a service member today, past or present and tell them how much you appreciate them. I guarantee it will mean the world to them! I know it does me! Enjoy the story through these special photos of the two and their homecoming day. And again, welcome home!

Ogilvie Wedding | 10.27.12.

I have to tell yall the story. Or you won't fully appreciate why I was so happy to do this wedding. Nikki contacted me a few months back before her October wedding, actually only about a month before her wedding. Nikki's mother, Mrs. Jewel and my mom work together. Being a mom and how mom's are, my mom always brags on her kids. Nikki had found out through my mom that I did photography on the side as well. My mom is incredibly into home decor just like I am and was helping Nikki plan and decorate for her wedding coming up. She had been telling me all about it on the phone and how pretty Nikki's wedding was going to be...and even saying, "I wish you could see it Ally. It is going to be so gorgeous, I'll have to get some pictures from the photographer."

Nikki wrote me a Facebook messaging explaining what I truly believe has been one of the sweetest things I've been apart of my entire life. I live in Florida because my husband serves in the Air Force. Nikki's wedding was in North Carolina where I am originally from and where my parents as well as my husbands are still located. Nikki asked if I would be interested in photographing her wedding...but even more than that, regardless about the photography or not, she wanted to fly me home to surprise my mom. DONE. This was around the same time we had found out my mom had Thyroid cancer. DONE. DONE. DONE.

Nikki, your act of kindness has made a HUGE impact on my life forever. I realized that there still are generous souls out there and even more, I realized what MATTERS in life. Each other. And family.

Nikki's wedding was nothing short of beautiful and I was honored to capture her day. Although we got caught up as well with Hurricane Sandy and were unable to get one picture outside, I still loved your day and considered it beautiful. I hope you did too.

Angela & Wayne are expecting!

I was SO happy when Angela told me the great news... that her and her sweet husband, Wayne, were finally expecting their first child! I have literally waited YEARS for this news people! Angela has been my hair stylist for at least a couple of years now and I can't rave about her or her salon enough. They are amazing girls who have an amazing skill and business. I HIGHLY recommend if you are in the Jacksonville or surrounding areas of North Carolina to go see Fusion Hair Salon. You can find them on Facebook here! Make sure you tell them that Ally sent you!

I was so honored to capture a few photos for Angela to announce her big news. But photo time came around the same time that Hurricane Sandy came through so we had some pretty bad weather on top of trying to work with each others schedule. So we improvised and took these photos in Angela's home and I personally, don't think that they turned out too bad! I can't take credit for all the ideas as Angela has definitely been doing her research and wanted something different to announce they were finally expecting!

Wayne's mom HAND created that "bump ahead" sign. And we used a ruler as the post. SUPER creative and SUPER cute. What a cute picture, right?

I can't describe how happy that I am for Angela and Wayne and I know that they are going to be the best parents. Thank you for allowing me to help and I can't wait to watch the little one grow! All I ask is you name her Ally if it's a girl :D
